The International Language Center (CII) was founded in response to the Mexican and foreign students desire to develop the necessary language skills for succeeding and actively participating in today’s world. The languages taught are Spanish, English, French, Italian, Russian, German, Japanese and Chinese. If your goal is to speak Spanish, the Spanish Department at the International Language Center is your right choice.
The Center for Asian and Latin American Studies (CEAL) was founded in a joint effort by UAG, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Japan, and the Osaka University of Commerce, Japan. These three universities have combined synergically their long educational, technological and administrative experience as well as their financial resources to achieve the Center´s mission: to promote cultural understanding and to develop human resources able to perform efficiently in the Pacific Basin countries. The Center has programs for Chinese, Japanese and Korean studies which include courses that are part of the curriculum for different majors. Furthermore, the Center sponsors and arranges students exchange between UAG and Asian universities. Independent students and groups of Asian students receive support through the center.
